When people ask me why I’m a vegetarian I try to go into great detail the things I have learned about the inhumane treatment of animals in our country. I tell them about how eating a plant based diet has proven to reverse disease and disorders but in the end… I usually just point them in the direction of this film which has been coined “The Vegan Maker”. All it takes is an hour and a half to change the way you look at meat or any product that comes from the slaughtering of animals.

Rest in Peace to the beautiful Etta James..... It took me forever to narrow down just one song I would post in dedication to her. I chose "At Last" because I don't know anyone who does not love this song. She was so passionate and bold with the way she performed her songs and they connected with so many people. She will forever be remembered as one of the greatest of her time.
